The neighborhood includes several major tourism sites related to Truman, Three Trails, followers of Joseph Smith, Mid-Continent Public Libray genealogy library and other historic sites.
There are 113,000 visitors to the Truman Library and 23,000 to the Truman Home based on the city's 2006 tourism numbers.
